Default Radar Detectors in a TT

The way I drive I need a radar detector. I was told that the Valentine One is the best there is. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, good, bad or neutral on any type of radar detector they use in their TT. My TT is a coupe. Also if people could tell me where/how they mounted their detectors.

Thanks<p>Thomas R Reminga

Mine is mounted low just above the windshield vents and hard wired. Looks and works fine from there

I have a K40. No pics, because nothing is seen + it has new technology not found in 10 year old V1.

Default Is the K40 software or hardware upgradeable?

Default I have a Uniden hardwired and mounted in upper left corner (more)

Hands down, the V1 is the best detector available but my research found some ratings that had the Uniden ranked #2. So if money is no object, go with a V1, but there are also some other fine detectors out there without having to lay out as much cash.
