Default radio code

im hoping someone can help me somehow besides telling me to go back to audi, my car was in an indoor car show last weekend, and u have to disconnect your positive battery terminal, well now my radio won't go on because its in safe mode, and i bought the car used so it didn't come with the code to bring it back to normal

Default It may be written down somewhere...>>

Look on the Paper build tag to the left of the spare, on the label on top of the radio, or in the PDI area of the manual. Some dealers write the 4 digit scode somewhere on delivery. Other than that, you're at the mercy of the dealer...

Default Audi Dealer radio code recovery

I recently went through the same exercise - the radio code was nowhere to be found as I also bought the car used. My solution was to buy the radio extraction tools from the Internet ($9.00 I believe), extract the radio myself, go to the Audi dealer, they pulled the appropriate radio serial number and VIN, plugged it into the Audi network and recovered the safe mode 4 digit key. Because I pulled the radio myself, the Dealer had the code in 15 minutes at no charge...if you do not have the code this is the only route

Wait a sec. A car show told you to disconnect the *positive* cable? Way dumb
