Default Radio has no Power after dead Battery??

I am not sure how it happend it is not my car, but the battery went dead. Left the lights on I think. After jump starting the car now the Bose radio has no power it does nothing. Pulled the fuse but no luck. Any idea's the dealer can't look at it for another 10 days.

Nutin? there is a fuse on the back of the H/U. Others have reported this to be a problem area.

Default What is involved in pulling out the Bose H/U?

Is this an easy job to check the fuse in the back of the H/U?

Default I have a page on this, as you may suspect.

the cables are attached to the back of the H/U, and the whole thisng can pull out easily, after releasing the retaining clips.<ul><li><a href="http://home.attbi.com/~jbipes/ttr/fabup.html">H/U removal</a></li></ul>

Jeff what size/type fuse does the H/U require? If I am going to make the tool and pull it out I might as well have a fuse handy.

Thanks

5A small, old style glass type, not the blade-type

Default Needs a code inputted to turn it back on...if it was not written down in your Owners manual when...

you got it, the dealer will have to do it. Once you have the correct code and the right way to input it, it should be easy. I have not done it on my TT so I may be full of 'beep' but thats how it works on my Audi Cabrio. I reset that one myself. It does it to ofcourse make it useless to anyone stealing it.

He said "no power", the H/U would read 'SAFE' if there were power there.
