Most cars had stickers on the rear side glass on the coupe. Mine still does

Default Now that car is out of warranty, I don't deal with the dealer at all....

And I didn't buy the car from a local dealer either. Got it out of Missouri... I'm in GA. So I don't really blame them for wanting to charge me to hook it up to retrieve information.

Default and yes the tag in the spare well might be it >>

I just got off the fone w/ AoA as the original selling dealer of my '01 is gone.
Gave me a "tip" that there was a tag/sticker in or neaer the tire well over by the option sticker and the tag might say RD or RC and with the 4 digit radio code. It will start with 0 or 1.

Default Re: I got mine from AoA... sort of...

The used car dealer I got the car from finally was able to come up with the code. I screwed up earlier though and entered the wrong code twice so now it is locked out. If I remember correctly, I have to put the key in the ignition turned on with the radio on for an hour or something like that to reset it, then I'll be able to reenter the code pushing the RDS and FM2 buttons simultaneously. Does anyone know if I got that right, the part about how to "reset" it that is?
