Pretty easy install. I added a little adhesive around the nut insert just for added grip. Thanks for BlackfnTTruck for his Fotki gallery.

some simple green and a soft bristle brush does a good job on most of what i have run into...

Default I wish I knew. It's been there for quite a while. I've tried everything to get it off.

It looks like it's actually etched into the metal a little.

Default Hah, you guys and your detailing. My engine compartment has NEVER been that clean.....

...at least not since I stopped showing my cars. So I wouldn't worry TOO much about the stain on the manifold. But you might try something granular like "Bartender's Friend" and a toothbrush to get into the porous surface.
