..very efficiently in the case of TTs good brakes.
Harder compounds are available for fast road and track work. these work less well on 'normal' braking as they can glaze, and are less efficient at lower operating temperatures. At track speeds they give off even more dust. Check out a race paddock. Mintex are considered good in Europe. So are Brembo and AP for brake tuning.
Low dust pads are just not as efficient; my dealer tells me that unapproved non OEM pads can give rise to premature brake disc wear. Mt 2cents:
Stick with the factory the pads are integral to brake performance specs and design.
Wash your wheels; it takes max 2 minutes a wheel with soapy water and an unsed paint brush. Even if you don't wash whole car. Wash your wheels. It will pay dividends come resale time and it keeps winter salt at bay.
How often to you clean your shoes.......
