Just keep clicking until you get the 1600x1200 image and then right-click to "save picture as..." It's the last photo on the thumbnail screen.

No exposure compensation. I set the exposure just by moving the G1 around until I was happy with the LCD image brightness. Then I locked the exposure and re-framed the shot. It's pretty tricky to get good exposure with bright sky and dark main subject and in this case I wanted the picture to turn out a bit darkish with blue and yellow tones dominating.

I have one too and instead of relying on matrix or spot metering to capture tough lighting situations i use the exposure compensation and custom white balance..give it try ![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
btw, check out the 'blues' I captured on this shot..(my first time playing around with the g1) Also a tough lighting situation which beach reflections...

Yeah, I also use exp. compensation and custom white balance most of the time. Especially when taking pictures in winter that's the only way to come up with decent looking photos. White snow really confuses auto white balance and exposure in just about every camera. I used custom white balance in that take-off shot also.
Nice photo with excellent blue sky indeed!
