Default Rear Camber adjustment for track day/autocross

Anyone dial out the negative rear camber on their TT beyond the minimum Audi specs for handling purposes?? I have a set of Milltek rear control arms, konis+ Eibachs and I want to set the rear camber outside of the stock settings in an effort to reduce understeer and preserve tire life. Any suggestions for a good camber setting that would help me achieve this with out making things too squirly? Does anyone know if the pre-recall of MK1 TT's had less negative rear camber than the current version? TIA

Default A good moderately aggressive setting that will work....>

Well for the street and give you excellent transient response is about -1.6. Unfortunately you cannot optimize the toe easily with those arms. Had you gone to a Kmac system you'd have more options for easy car set-up...

Default I'd have to disagree with Schwing here

have the Forge (basically the same) and we had NO problem getting the toe where ever i wanted. it's adjusted at the front of the control arms, where they mount to the car. any reputable alignment shop will do it easily. you do not need the Kmac to do this. camber is also WAY easier to adjust, so is the install. i played around with a few settings and tried rear -1.8 and also had -2.2 (accidentally) and both weren't even close to having oversteer. at -1.5, my car feels incredible! i have -1.2 front (maxed it out). both tires are wearing flat. i have 10k on car and 6k on current setting. unless it throws you out of a class, i'd pop on the rear bar too.

What are you adjusting? I have stock suspension and sit dead even at zero after crash repairs.

Im going to try alignment dial in some neg upfront, if I can get -1.2 in front I'll be thrilled and -1 - 1.5 in the rear. I dont want to throw a bar on until I evaluate it at Sebring. I made the mistake when I was 19 of over-modding my suspension on my 16v Jetta and the car was too twitchy for street tires. I will play with shock settings, tire pressures and hopefully dialing out some of the neg in the rear will help

Default I said "easily" .....I do my own alignments.......>>

Unbolting the trailing arms and messing with the slotting is a PITA when you can just twiddle a few kmacs....

Default There's no adjustment, so the range is pretty broad....>>

-1.3 to -2.0 falls within "factory" spec I believe....
