Reattaching front Valence

Reattaching front Valence
Hello-I have a 2000 FWD TT-had it was lowered (H&R springs).
Recently caught front valence on parking stop (curb).
The valence is cracked front to back and the attachment bracket came off. My question is this-can I just use self-tapping screws to attach valence to underside of car? Are there any lines or radiator (main or A/C) that the screws might pierce?
