Default that Borges article is a classic...

e.g. how he implies that the U.S. is "most of the sporting world".

Here's a fun little exercise you can do with just about anyone: ask him/her who the highest paid sports star in the world is... they're usually suprised to hear it's someone they've never heard of, or at best, wouldn't recognize in a picture: Michael Schumacher.
