Default Cancel credit card payment now

Sounds like a small disaster. Get a call tag, ship the parts back and start over with a better vendor.

If that is really a Borla weld, I would go elsewhere. That is total garbage work.

Default Not the best, but I've seen worse.

I say wait til Monday when you can talk to someone that might be able to explain the situation, then decide if you want to ship it back.

It didn't align proper so I took it to a muffler shop (this past spring no less) and got it fixxed.

Default It hurts to see your hard earned $ pay a high premium for pipes but...

the welds look complete so I would not worry about it. Put the system on once you hear the sweet sounds you'll never think about the welds again.

Default I was going to mention the same thing: I'm no weld expert

but my welds look similar - I didn't think the welds were "sloppy" and it in no way affects the function of the exhaust.

Default Some steel wool or a scotch bright will help.

You can get out the discoloration and improve the "grain" but as soon as you run it, it will begin to turn a bit brown at the hot spots. On the other hand, it will likely last forever. Borla did a muffler for my 1982 DeLorean ten years ago. Looked about the same as the photos you guys have posted here.
