As some of you may know I recently purchased a new car (German, but not an Audi) with the agreement that the TT goes to my wife (sweet deal).
Well we recently picked up the new car in Germany and after two weeks we are home again sans new car as it will take 5 weeks to get it here. I figured that I'll keep driving the TT until the new car arrives - wrong! The wife has taken possesion and I have been relegated to the passenger seat - someplace I have never sat before! Her logic was that I have taken delivery of the new car and it's not her fault that it has to be shipped across an ocean to get here. "Tough luck buddy, the TT is mine, all mine!"
Sitting on the right side of the car is a weird experience not to mention that I must just bite my lip when it comes to advice about driving the TT (after all, what do I know, I only lived with this car for two and a half years putting 30k miles on it....).
This morning she is driving me to work as the daily driver (SUV) is in the shop and she asks when am I going to reinstall the chipped ECU (which was out because of service) as she would like more power.
Yikes! It's proving harder to give up my baby then I thought! Of course, in 5 weeks it will get a lot easier!
