Default Remote Control for Concert stereo w/ Bose

Hello, everyone. I just got my TT roadster last month, so I'm starting to mess with it now. Does anyone nkow if it's possible to hook up a remote control for the factory Concert stereo (w/ bose upgrade)? I've searched the forums and there was a pinout posted by Jeffrey Sellser:

<a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/63403.phtml">Concert Stereo Pinouts</a>

Pin 11 shows up as a steering-wheel remote. Does anyone have an idea on how to hook-up that remote? Do you think that if I get the Blaupunkt Thummer remote, it can be spliced to work with the factory stereo?

Thanks.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/63403.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/63403.phtml</a</li></ul>

Why would a Blaupunkt Thummer be plug &amp; play with a Bose headunit?

Default Boris, don't you think that you can reach the stereo from anywhere in the roadster? :)

What do you need the remote for? It's not the "Volga", you know?
BTW nice sig.

Default Because the unit was designed by Blaupunkt . . .

though most of our 2000 &amp; 2001 TTs came with Concerts made by Matsu****a (Panasonic)<ul><li><a href="http://www.exelaris.com/ttaudio/TT_Audio_Receiver.html">http://www.exelaris.com/ttaudio/TT_Audio_Receiver.html</a></li></ul>

Default According to Blaupunkt's site the concert headunit also has an IR port

I've asked this same question many times. I haven't found anybody that has tried any of the Blau IR controllers on the concert headunit.

Do you have the link to the site you are talking about? I can't even find the Concert model or any spect on Blaupunkt's website. I'm making this my first TT project, so I'm pretty determined to get this done.

Thanks.

Default USA Concert is a Panasonic unit. Can't use Blau remote :-(

I did the research on this some three years ago and contacted Blaupunkt. The USA support rep told me that the Concert head unit in the USA is made by Panasonic not Blau.

Default Found this pinout for the Blaupunkt Casablanca CD50

This is just a shot in the dark, but the rear panel looks identical to the Concert unit in the TT, even though the pinout is slightly different. The pin for remote is the same, #11, though. I've ordered the Blaupunkt RC-09 steering wheel remote, and I'll mess around with the connections when I get it. I'll lte you guys know how this turns out.
