Hi, i have a 2001 TT roadster, this week i started the car and tried to lock the door with the second remote control the car comes with. After doing that the remote locking does not work, it does not respond at all.I tried both remote controls, neither work. I doubt the battery is at fault, the remotes were working fine before that. What could cause this, can i reset the remotes?

I think I remember reading something on how to reprogram the the key by putting it in the door and doing something. It is somewhere in the manual....let me check.

Press the lock or unlock button on the key. Then, within one minute, lock or unlock the drivers door with the master key.

Yeah tried that... no go... i called the service dept at the dealer... they said that i need a key in the ignition.... i think i'll stop by the dealer later.... it just pisses me off... the car is 2 weeks old.
