Remote gas cap release

Remote gas cap release
I stopped for gas today and when I pushed the remote release button nothing happened. I shut the car off, tried again, turned the car on, tried again- nothing.
I used the release cord in the side of the trunk and it opened the cap. I got gas, and went on my way.
When I got home I tried the remote release again and it worked fine.
Did this ever happen to anyone else? My 225QR is only two weeks old and I had forbade it to have any malfunctions. I HATE IT whyen they don't listen!
