Remote install of radar Bel 975 & Blinder laser jammer (long)

I've searched the forum and not found much in the way of specifics in terms of installing these two units. I am using a professional installer who called 15 places but was not able to get much info from fellow installers about putting these on a TT. The remote sensor of the Bel was installed behind the black mesh grill - very low. Two shops advised to remove the bumper (several hours) but still no specifics as to how to mount the unit high in the grill. With the 2 Blinder units - one should go to either side in teh front - he installed below with detector near center on shelf he fashioned but they need to be level and they aim up. He knows this is not a good solution and will continue to try and get info to help and re-install more properly but I hoped there might be some input from experts here. I know folks here are sold on the Valentine but many of the same install issues must apply. Also, I've not seen much on the laser jammers (www.blinder.com). I did not want to use the K40 as our state require no front license plate and I wanted to keep the nose pristine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

is less than a 30 minute remove and reinstall procedure. You need to put the front of the car on jack stands, remove both inner fender liners using a Torx driver, then remove the two 10mm nuts deep inside the front of the inner fenders under the headlights. Their are two other small torx fasteners at the bottom of the inner fender at the corner, can't miss them. Two on each side of the car. You will also have 3 large torx fittings on either side of the hood latch. The last of the fasteners are under the nose of the car. The nose will then slide right off. make certain to not scrape it or drop it. Installation is reverse of removal.

Forget about jamming the laser, you can't do it. My very good friend is a Traffic cop (good friend to have, has gotten both of my parents out of tickets). I have even tried using the laser gun. You would have to put out some serious interference to scramble the laser. Think of a laser pointer, they are hitting your car with one small beam. Its just not gonna happen without some kind of IR generator or other High frequency light generator to scramble the beam.

This and anotehr unit send out a strong light source - 16 leds on this one and only 2 on teh K40 unit which reportedly do jam the lasers - the key is to receive the signal which at 1000 feet can widen to 18 inches - the blinder has 2 separate sending units which increases the liklihood of getting hit and sending jamming signal if placed in the immediate area targeted (i.e. license plate or possible headlight)- certainly not a perfect system but can work in many cases I think. A third unit actually sends out a laser signal but only can run for 5 seconds before overheating and shutting down for a minute.
www.speedzones.com is reportedly independent measurement lab which has a write up on this and other laser jamming units. You can also access the detailed report through the bliner web site at www.blinder.dk
