Removal of Thule lock cylinders (cores)

I can't remember for sure, but I think there was a special key
basically a blank. With the tumbler unlocked you inserted the blank in the lock and then twisted a few degrees & pulled.
But that might be a yakima thing....I frankly can't remember....if you can wait a month or so while I get unpacked & all that I can find out for sure
