Default Remove Privacy Glass in Roadster

Hey everyone.

I'm looking to have my "privacy glass" tinted in my 01 roadster. (you know, the glass that pops up behind the seats)

Anywho, to have it professionally tinted, would it be easier for me to give them the whole car, or just the piece of glass itself? Does it come out fairly easily?

Anyone have diagrams, or could tell me what to look for?

(By the way, the tint is just going to be a 30%, nothing too too dark)

Thanks

My only concern is that, from what I've heard, you can't roll up/down the window for 24 hours.

With that, I'd need to leave the top down, and I'm not in a position where I could leave the top down for that long.

Maybe I'll just wait until summer.

It will stay up even if you put the top up as long as you don't hit the down button.

No & they wouldn't want you to remove the glass to tint it, it's an easy job.

Default Used to be a window tinter...

I'm guessing it would be a bit of a pain to tint, BUT, I'm sure it can be done. Taking the glass out would probably be unnecessary...and more of a pain for you. Where do you live? If you're around CT I'll do it for ya...

Oh, and there are probably ways where you'd be able to roll up and down the glass sooner. May only have to wait a few hours.

Default Mines tinted (while on the car). Its a total blind spot when up.

In an open car the tint works in both directions.

It is nice for drving at night - its likes sunglasses for the rearview mirror.
