With the impending winter weather and my abhorance to getting a separate set of wheels/snows for my FWD TT, I'm considering replacing the stock summer-only rubber with something a bit more all-weather (shut up Andy! :-).

My question is: Will the stock rims accept and allow for proper clearance if I go to a 235/45-17 or 235/40-17 tire? Or, should I stick with the stock size (225/45-17)?
