Default Replacement turbo for 2001 TTQC-225 AMU engine...what/where to buy?

95k miles on vehicle and oil is blowing past turbo. The only replacement I can find is ecstuning for $1600 (ouch!).

Q1) Is the OE turbo for my car a K04-022?

Q2) APR does not have a replacement other than Stage III. So sugguestions for other sources for a stock replacement or larger bolt on turbo replacement?

TIA.

Default Are you sure it's your Turbo?.....>>

It's pretty common to blow oil through the intake tract. 98% of the time it's the PCV system. At your age and mileage it probably needs rebuilding. Details from LZ7W in the FAQ..

Besides.. a blown turbo is usually more indicated by clouds of white smoke and loss of boost.

Default I am burning a lot of oil...

I am burning at least 1 quart of oil every 200 miles, maybe more. Oil fouled plug on Cyl 4 to the point that it no longer fired. I asked indie mechanic to check PCV valve first. Some oil, but not a lot on the other side...I asked him to replace it b/c it's not that expensive. He then looked at turbo, and believes that is the problem. That said, while burning tons of oil, I see no visible smoke in the rear view mirror, and no dramatic loss of boost.
