Default Replacing Air Filter

Next week I'm going to install a K&N drop in air filter. I've never opened my stock airbox, or replaced my OEM filter. Does anyone have detailed instructions (or pictures) as to how you go about doing this?

Default Re: Replacing Air Filter

Okay, I think I figured it out. Remove the two long screws. Remove the plastic 'shielding.' Unclip the MAF sensor. Push the box such that you can unhinge it (is it necessary to remove any hoses? seems like there's enough give that you don't need to do this). Remove old filter. Place the K &N Filter with the oil side DOWN. Put everything back together. Is this correct?

Default I got a rubber gasket with mine that went in the groove on the cover..>>

And the greese went on the top side of the filter to seal the gasket.
