Default Replacing Driver Side Tail Light

My 2004 Audi TT recently was rear ended and now I am left with a broken driver side tail light. I am looking at tail lights online and would like to order one ASAP, but can't seem to get a clear answer as to whether or not the parts differ by year. I found one on a 2003 that I would like to buy, but I want to ensure that a 2003 tail light is the EXACT same as a 2004. Please help!!

THANKS!

Default Check Part Number

If you still have the old light shell, check whether it has a part number on it.

Default Check Part Number Online

Read this thread: here.

Compare the tail light part numbers of your 1004 model year and the 2003 model year. If they are exactly the same, then....

This approach may not always work as some parts get superceded.
