Default results from "the race"

S4_dukar, street racer extrordinaire, got his *** handed to him. And, get this... he missed the shift into 3rd from 2nd and instead hit 1st gear. At 60MPH or so. He thinks he broke his car.

Default Doh......Well he got what he

deserved. What people don't realize is that rev limiters don't prevent the revs from exceeding it when down shifting, so I'd suspect that there was some internal damage that won't manifest itself for a few thousand miles. Then, when his S4 starts having trouble he'll be back posting how his car doesn't run properly and put the blame on Audi. I read part of the childish thread on the S4 board and this kid is a "punk". As we all predicted, he lost and something did get hurt.

Oh well, live and learn!

Default My wife owns a 2001 GT, 4+ltr V8 - lots of torque, not slow!

We've had some "mini street" races before and in my current (Borla+DV) trim she can whop my *** with her 260hp. Even with a chip etc it would be a tough short distance thing as they have so much torque.

Just my $0.2c

See, some people don't even need Nitro to blow a motor.

Um....mustangs are SLOW, unless you're going from a standing start to about 70mph...
