Default Results for today's work.

Installed front Zimmerman Slotted/Drilled rotors, PBR Ceramic, and ECS Brake Lines (Next weekend are the rears). Brakes feel like I dont have to use as much force to get good stopping power than before. But I did not I could pretty much hit the brake pedal straight down to the floor. Is that suppose to happen? Also put in the Blue Spring into my Forge Race DV. Felt the power kick in harder and pretty smooth. But noticed that the noise had changed. Noticed that there is a echo noise now oppose to one loud feathery psssshhhhhh and at points a screaming sound. Is the echo noise good? It echos during low and high acceleration. The noise starts out lound and then less to the point where is goes away.

Default Your "echo" is probably flutter....>

(compressor stall) Which means the spring is too stiff. Go back to the green.

Default Did you clean the rotors really well - both sides. ........

I have found you really need to scrub to remove all oily residue.

I didn't clean a set as well as I should have and rebled the brakes twice. It still took a good 2 weeks before the brakes had that good really hard feel to them. I had even bedded the brakes twice also. The only reasoning I could figure was that I had not gotten the rotors really clean.

Default Found out fluid was leaking out on the driver side.

Thinking because we did not switch replace an old washer with a new washer. Tomorrow we are going to switch new with old and then attempt to rebleed again. We have to do it manually due to not have a VAG.
