Default Review: Harbor Freight Oil Change Pump

The pump and canister seem to work.

As predicted by Schwing, the 7/16" tube collapsed. The wall is too thin. I suspect that's why someone returned the unit I received. It was oily when I got it.

The smaller tube that slides into the dip stick tube seems to hold up.

I have scrounged some stiffer tubing and I think this will solve my problem and make this contraption a nice addition to the garage for "extra" oil changes between the full L.O.F.

Default how about the oil filter?

easy to get to from top?

let us know what you find for the tube replacement.

Default You just need a thicker walled one, 7/16". I have read here that the TT's filter

can be reached from the top. No such luck with the Lotus.

Default excellent. i see that Griot's has an electric one. wonder how that is.

would be faster than pumping by hand...and especially since i have the allroad as well...and that's 7 quarts!
