Default Revo or MTM

I have narrowed my choice down to REVO or MTM for my chip. the MTM guy said that he keeps the car over night to makesure everything works right with it. He also says taht there is not need to change the DV or the Motormounts where as the guy for REVO says you should change both. also the REVO flash is only like 15 minutes. i am just wondering which one you would pick and y? also what sort of gains would i see with them?
Thanks in advance.

Default Tougher mounts not a bad thing...needed on big poop, not just chip. Still>>

gives a more direct connection within driveline but can add vibration.
Revo guy doin' a little overkill

yeah i was kind of thrown for a loop with that too. id just thought id ask. neway do you have a REVO?

alos neone with MTM is encouraged to give some insight.

what gains do you think i would see with each chip?

since REVO is flash loaded is that harder on the engine? becuase that is what the MTM Dealer claimed.

Default Not many MTM chips out there....>

And not many dealers apparently. It was one of the very first chips available for the TT..Very Euro in it's power delivery and pretty aggressive. Guys that had (Have) em seem to like em, Just not much of an installed base. Revo is a bit more flexible if you spring for the SPS3. I doubt you'd really notice much difference if youset the REVO up correctly...
Easy flash programming too..

You will find that any chipped program will put additional strain on the stock DV and you'll most likely have to upgrade that eventually. As far as motor mounts, that is pretty much BS. You may want to replace the dogbone mount with a Poly to firm up things a bit, but that's a $16 mod and very easy..

Default I had an MTM in my FWD TTR before going APR stage 3.

Very nice torque curve and problem free. Highly recommended. I still have the "M" ECU.

Default I had MTM on my 2000 225 roadster.

Strong and reliable. I kept the ECU with chip when I sold the car. If this ECU would work for you send me an email.

Default Depending on where you live... if you can only get 91 octane....

skip the MTM... it really needs the higher octane - carbon buildup + crappy gas + aggressive chip == detonation... not good.
