Rieger rs4 front

Rieger rs4 front
has anyone installed the Rieger RS4 front? I have my TT going in for a new front bumper next week due to some damage from pulling into a parking spot with a brown curb at the end of it at night. Anyway, I was thinking about getting a new front chin at the same time. I emailed someone from moldynamics.com and they told me that to install this one you had to cut the lower portion of the stock bumper. This would be a little silly since it is going to be brand new bumper. However, if the Rieger RS4 were to replace the lower chin part of the bumper entirely, this would replace the damaged portion of my bumper. So basically what I want to know is what part and how much of the bumper do you cut and how does this mount on? The support from moldynamics.com didn't really answer my questions as thoroughly as I would like. Any info is appreciated.

Yes you will need to cut the bottom portion of the factory bumper off. It comes with a metal plate and hardware to secure it to the factory bumper once the modification of the factory bumper has been completed.

Audi sells a chin spoiler that wraps around the factory spoilerand bolts into the same
holes as the front fender liners. I am going to have to mod it to make it fit "perfectly".

thanks...
I was asking about the RS4 specifically because I was debating going that route rather than replacing my whole bumper. I changed my mind because I don't really want a hacked up front bumper. Besides the bumper is already ordered, and I don't know if my insurance would agree to go with the RS4 route. I am just going to replace the bumper for now and probably go with the Rieger bumper extension very soon. I really want the rieger spoiler as well, but its a little pricey for a spoiler. we'll see.

Yeah, I've looked into that one as well.....
my bumper still needs replacement before I go with either. I had thought about using the Audi chin spoiler as a band aid fix, but I decided to have it repaired properly.
