When I made this trip last time it was a straight shot from Austin to LA. This time I've got my nephew here from Europe and I thought I'd add a couple days to the trip and show him some sights. Any recomended roads twistys or giant views? Can't wait until the 10th to pick the car up.

If you want high speed runs check out the ET highway in Nevada (Hwy375). I think there were three long straights, each about 15 miles long

There are some fun roads around Yosemite but usually clogged with slow traffic. I don't remember too many fun twisties in Nevada but found a bunch up in Utah.

-if I were to do plan it today I'd chart it on Google Earth to reveal the topography. There must be net sites with 'best drives' for the southwest. oh, and the radar detector...

It sounded insanely cool the other day! Be prepared though, it's loud! I have no idea what break in is being done as it gets tuned, but I thought I'd remind your right foot of the new-ness of the motor. what'll you'll totally enjoy is a few drops to 4th gear and hitting triple digits like THAT
