Roadster Question: Does anyone experience any less wind buffeting when using that glass thang?

If I have the windows and the windscreen up, it is very calm inside and I can leave my ashtray open. If I roll down the windscreen, I end up with ashes blowing everywhere.
If the windows are down, though, it makes no difference.
