Roadster radar system
Just picked up a TT Roadster last month. The interior radar alarm system is not installed.
I asked the dealer what was up and they replied this has been discontinued. Since I like to leave the top down I am not a happy camper. Is anyone aware whether this it is true it has been discontinued and why. Can it be retrofitted?

I just ordered a 2002 Green/Green/Baseball Optic 225 TT. I'm sorry to hear they discontinued the radar system. Wonder what was wrong. Too many false alarms?

It was discontinued but the wire/plug is still in the car! lol
I wonder if you have the interior motion sensor or not. Open the grille at the roof and see what is inside. If the sensor is there you just need to purchase the on/off button and you are good to go.

Re: How do you tell? I have a button that looks like it switches of interior alarm..
Mine has a button but with no Icon or LED indicator. If yours is the same you don't have it. Suprise!
