Default Ronal R38 opinions wanted.

Looking to upgrade wheels and do not want to spend the cash on the ALMS rims. The R38 seems like the look I want and just want get some feedback. I would also consider the ALMS copies if they were similar construction and quality to the originals. My first choice would be BBS but cleaning them is too much of biatch.

Thanks in advance.

Default I Like this BBS Model as well.

Just do not like mult-drilled rims.

Default I have both. ALMS came on car and I use R38's for winter.

Like them very much. I had bought a set of replica ALMS for winter, but had to return as I got a bad one and it turned me off. So, went with the R38....the quality is excellent...with all the joking aside, they do make the stock Audi wheels. One of the great features is that they fit over the StopTech brakes without having to use spacers. With the replica ALMS, you still need a spacer. These wheels went through a hell of a winter and came out beautifully.

Here's a link to some pics, you can see<ul><li><a href="http://public.fotki.com/DennyTT/tt_albums/ronal_r38/">R38, ALMS and replica ALMS</a></li></ul>

Default They are a fantastic wheel. Have the 17" for winter and know

they would look 100% better in 18"

Ace Lolas are pretty nice as well, clean looking 7(I think) spokes.

Are you still thinking of getting 18s for the summer? I'd love to see how they look.

Default Nah, once the ALMS went back on, I decided I really do love them. I'll

live with the spacers....and with the upcoming house upgrade, I'm putting all fun money toward that .. ;-D
