Roof light stays on
My roof light stays on infinitely when the switch is in the "middle" position. The instrument cluster does not complain about open door. Any idea what is broken?

First symptoms of a faulty door latch switch.
Other symptoms: Driver door window was not coming down a little when opening door; dome lights not coming on, cluster would not illuminate when opening door . . .
Dealer replaced mine when I was under warranty, part number 8N1 837 015 C. There is more information in the FAQ. If it was only the dome light and was not accompanied by the cluster not illuminating, I would say the wiring in the headliner around the dome light was iffy, some have seen that as well.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1397164.phtml">FAQ post, see thread for more</a></li></ul>
