Default I have had an unexplained drop...I am not sure if it coincided w/ use of Ethanol in our fuel

or something else. over the course of the last 5 or 6 months my normally >28mpg is hover at 24mpg.

I tend not to pay very close attention to consumption though.

Default the rpm was dancing. because I hear my car revving a little. But...

Sometimes when my car is turned off, I see my guages dancing

Default Dont think it's a leak or VAG would have spotted it right?>>>

I took my car to the dealer not too long ago and they used VAG on it to diagnose a lateral sensor replacement. I did that and the car was ok. But I dont think he saw any more probs. So I am thinking it would be the plugs and/or MAF.

Default only major leaks will show up in vag. I had a my share of vac leaks and none of them

triggered a cel.

Default Best way is using a pressure tester. Steve make one for a good price...
