Default Re: you have a point, I have yet to see a fake alms wheel with the proper offset (33et)

I have parked my TT next to an ALMS TT. The wheels appear to be in the same position in the wheel well relative to brake calipers and relative to distance from fender edge. I did not put a measuring device on them, but the appearance is, to use the cliche', "close enough for government work."

Default ...and besides, AoA overprices their wheels...why bow down to them for doing that?

why would anyone overpay for something that isn't all that worth it. if i had to pay out that kind of money for RS4 wheels, i would just go out and buy BBS LMs. IMHO.

Default WOW...didn't know that they cost that much. I actually did a >>

buy now option on eBay for $600 without OEM caps. i bought the OEM caps separately from Clairparts and mounted them with my winter wheels. so in rebuttal to S4iscool's remark, its not real a disservice to people that pay for the real deal, but common sense, especially if i want to use them for winter wheels. whatever.

Default I was only saying that in terms of a comparisson

of getting the wheels through Audi afterwards. Audi charges something like $750 per wheel (crazy!) if you don't order them with the car. I have the replicas because I love the look but I'm not willing to pay 1k per corner (tires, mounting and balancing + tax).
