Default In a rush to get to work I forgot my gas cap....
8:00a meeting that I was running late for plus a rush to run in to the gas station to get coffee I forgot to put my gas cap back on. Didn't realize it until I pulled into work. Can I just run to autozone for a replacement or do I have to go to the VW/Audi dealer for a replacement? I would assume that the VW cap is cheaper.

Default I think its connected with a sensor cable >
notice anything amiss, or has it always been disconnected?

Default i just replaced mine. $17 for OEM at genuinevwaudiparts.com
dealer shouldn't be more than $25-30.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe throw a CEL?

He may get a CEL from fuel return presssure, maybe.

Default no - it makes the coolant sensor go all blahoey, and that kills the speed sensor, and >
THAT destroys the MAF! ;-P
