Default S line Heated and Illuminated Shift **** Installed - *Warning: Once you go heated you won't go back*

A heated shift **** is the best thing going, within 10 min of turning it on its nice a warm making winter gloveless driving a blast. The LEDS match nicely and I wired the heater into the drivers side control switch. So the temperature is regulated off the switch. I have a diagram if anyone needs it) I'll keep the pictures to a minimum but if anyone needs any help with anything let me know. Ok, Who's next?

Default Questions:

1. What did you use for the heater (PN, source, and cost?)
2. What is supplying power to the heater? I guess I would like the wiring diagram.
3. What do you charge for machining services on my Raffi **** (need the top bored out)...

1. This will depend on several things, weight, material, thickness and voltage. For S line I would recommend around 5W and thing less will take to long to heat anything much more will burn you. You need a Silicon Rubber Foil Heater with PSA. I would recommend calculating the heat loss before buying. I have a Maple program if you need it.

2. Pic Attached (My best hand writing) Wire your heater into #2

3. I can do it but I can't get to the lathe till mid-Jan. My little apartment one I don't think a Raffi **** will fit into it.

Answer to #1
