Safelite saga for today.... (RANT)

I know, I know. There's probably some glass kit out there (from the Mod Shack or something) where I could've done it myself and saved myself all this aggravation and some bucks..... anyway, I'm off from work today to have my windshield repaired, among other things. The service is scheduled from 8a-12p and around 11:40a, no tech. So I call and find out that they have me down from 2-4p. Huh? Why would I wait around all AM if I knew they were coming from 2-4 like they were scheduled? So, I'm a little peeved that I've blown a day waiting for this and ask for customer service. After speaking with no less than 8 people, in several different call centers, etc all of which were unhelpful, moreso than the other, they then drop the bomb on me that my service isn't today...... it's tomorrow from 2-4! Anyone else experience this high level of customer satisfaction from them?! After I ranted and raved, hung up and sent in their online customer dis-atisfaction questionaire, they then called back to say it was THEIR mistake and he'll be here today at 2...... UNREAL.
