Default Samco Turbo inlet pipe on 2001 225Q without ESP?

Is it possible to use this on pre-ESP cars? What modifications are necessary?

Default There have been a couple of posting about it. Looks like it just needs some extra hose to reroute

some fittings. Here is a post from Juliem on it.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/897170.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/897170.phtml</a</li></ul>

Default What changes are needed?

You mention that a couple of extra fittings were needed. What needs to be rerouted?

Default Here is what you will need...

All that is needed to make the Samco intake hose work is two jumper hoses.

A 10" length of 3/4" OD hose and a fitting to reduce the 3/4" to 5/8" (Home Depot A-493 PB225 ID BARB TO MIP ADAPTER 5/8" X 1/2") is required to reach the stock pressure valve location.

And a 6" length of 1/4" ID hose with a BRASS HOSE BARB SPLICER 1/4" X 1/4" is required to reach the stock N75 location.

See my Fotki site for pics.<ul><li><a href="http://public.fotki.com/sttewie/audi_tt_mods/samco_intake_install/">http://public.fotki.com/sttewie/audi_tt_mods/samco_intake_install/</a</li></ul>
