Default samco turbo intake hose (atc to awp code) any modifications>>>

so...

im not too familiar with the intake hose setup, but know that samco, and distributors are always inserting engine codes, 225, 180, quattro, fwd in their sales pitches...

is there any difference in the samco intake pipe/stock intake pipe (from MAF to turbo) from the 180 quattro and the 180 fwd??

i just ordered a samco intake hose for a 180 quattro, and would like to know if its a direct fit, or if i'll have to modify it (or return it)

cheers, and thanks in advance

Default you can plug any extra holes if there are; otherwise, I think no diff. >

so, you have fwd? I have some shots of mine before install I can post if you like, to compare.

Probably vacuum port differences like on the intake manifolds.

Default here's some install, showing a plug, w/DV and N75 >

Plug's visible, center bottom of top pic <img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn2360.jpg">

Guess I deleted my pre-install, but mine had 4 secondary taps (three visible here); my problem was excess silicone on the inside, but I managed to clean that up with a modelers scapel and an exacto knife:

Apologies for the dust - time for spring cleaning!
