Default This breaks my heart! Give us the old TT back!!!!!!

Thanks for posting this. But it makes me sad.

Each time I see a review of the modified TT, it always lists changes that I find very undesirable. I don't want a high-speed cruising car... I want a quick, nimble sporty car. I want the instant, sharp turn-in back. I don't want slower steering. I don't want to have to use more lock in corners. And DEAR LORD I don't want an earlier onset of understeer. I want the old goes-where-you-point it TT back!!!!

Default I seriously doubt that the "average" driver will notice a difference...

I think that maybe most TT drivers don't push the car anywhere near enough to get themselves into any serious trouble to start with.
The minor tweeks that Audi is doing are only going to make the car a little better for most people who only think they are good drivers.
That is not a flame, I thought I was great too, until I took a driving course.
The suspension can't be seen, and the spoiler flat-out doesn't look that bad. If the car came out with a spoiler to start with, how many of you would look at a "stripped" TT and think it looked a little odd?

None of the reviews I've read so far are all that negative. This review says that you need more lock in turns, but it also says that the steering has more feel at high speeds, one of the current TT's most commonly criticized faults. The review say that the car drives with more confidence at high speeds. It seems like someone interested in a true sports car would applaud this.

I'm not sure yet if I'm going to get the modifications yet, but I don't think it is the end of the world. Frankly, if I had a 225 quatro, I wouldn't hesitate to put the spoiler on. I'd be too tempted to open it up and take the car to its limits. Think of it this way. Those with the original version (at least in the U.S.) now have a choice of how they want their car to be set up. Some people will appreciate the current car's characteristics. Others eventually will favor the spoilered version. In the future, this may promote some interesting debate as to which is truly the better version. Only time will tell which one will prove to be the best version.

Yes, still not enough data to decide what will be the preferable version for many of us.

I agree with that. Moreover if you don't drive both cars everyday it must be difficult to feel the difference.Maybe the first time you drive it, but after that you get used to.
Anyway, it is impossible to have much understeer with the ESP on.

Default Oh dear! A larger anti-roll bar in the front and smaller...

...in the rear. We all know what that means! :-(

ESP only activates AFTER the unwanted handling occurs.
