Yesterday night, on the exit ramp from Beeline to I4 in Orlando, FL I saw a big digital display friendly reporting my speed. Vary accurately. The scarry part of it is that my V1 was completely quiet.
Anybody knows how this thing works???

last year I was driving past one of those "Speed Limit 35, Your Speed... 50" signs and my V1 wasn't going off at all.
Sent it in for service and it turns out a solder point broke and it wasn't detecting X-band anymore.
Keep an eye on the V1 when you go by strip malls, etc. and see if it's still detecting most bands.

digital tape measure or other similar measuring device, where it bounces off a moving object and calculates the motion and time. what's weird is that it only works coming towards the device, not away from it...because on the same road where the speed machine is, going the other way (with no cars headed into the direction of it) i can see that there's no reading on the display.
they have these set-up at most of the toll-booths going into NYC now where EZ-Pass is, where you should be going less than 15mph going through.
