sounds like a terminology debate more than a technical one. preloading a swaybar would be having one end set higher than the other and 'loading' up tension in the bar. like said above, similar to Nascar, to make the car turn one way better than the other. sounds like you want, also mentioned above, to have adjustable mounting points for the bar to vary the leverage the bar has on the suspension, no? where mounting points closer to the rear of the car increases strength on the bar. i think this would be a VERY useful upgrade to our bars as i miss having it coming from the Neuspeed bar on my GTI.
