Default tire setup is:

275/40/17 on a 17X9.5 F and 315/35/17 on a 17X12 R

Downforce will become an issue once the motors begin to be modified.

Synching the gears not be simple. There will be a dual handle, each with an adjustable length morse cable running to each box. In standard running condition, these shift handles will be linked together, with a means of quick release: in the event you split gears it is necessary to quickly and easily get back in sync. We are considering a way to run one engine in idle and the other for power in liason stages, but I haven't been convinced that the effort is worthwhile.

Stall speed is less than 5mph, so it should be akin to most cars from the start. Down low it will have more torque at a given rpm than an s2k, so we believe it will work out.

It is understood that this will not be a car for drag racing. It won't make much torque until you hit 35-40mph.

Default I'd just be concerned about a bad upshift or downshift out of sync and over reving

you might want to consider air shifters and maybe an rev limiter kill switch so if one engine overrevs it kill both engines. you don't want to go shelling one of those engines. This sounds like a fun project. Have fun with it and make sure you have a full cage and safety equipment. something like this is worth doing is worth doing right.
