Default A Search.....

I am interested in getting a sunroof installed. Can anybody give me a recommendation?
Obviously, it would be nice to have a warantee too, just in case of future leaks.

I was considering trading in my 2000 TT coupe for a roadster, but I need the trunk space that the coupe offers. I live in Bayside, Queens ( although, I would travel for a good cause ) Who should I go to for the install; and who should I avoid? Thanks!

Default I had mine done at Zeibart in Shrewsbury, MA. It comes with a 10 yr warranty for leaks

I don't know if they are a nationwide chain but the roof itself was designed for the VW bub so it should be available many places. Steve Schwing has a similar one and excellent photos of the install process on his Fotki site

http://public.fotki.com/ttschwing/</a

I have thought of a moon roof but I think it would change the structual stiffness too much..

Default Not really...>>

Just sheet metal in the roof section. No crossmembers at all.. All the structural stiffness is in the side arches..

No sign of the "you know what", but then the dogs run slow this time of year.
