I'm sure I've seen a link here on removing/replacing tail light lenses before. In my searches I found plenty of stuff on tinted lenses but nothing about removing the actual assembly itself.
Can anyone offer any help on removing the whole tail light assembly?

What is the deal with the "search" feature? I search for "tail light" or "taillight" and find just about everything on tail lights. I then search on "remove tail light" and I find posts on removing thermostats or removing engine covers - nothing related to tail lights.

the litte cut out are behind each tail light.

theres 2 screw on connectors that have hand grips, no tools required.

one is on top, the other is towards the bottom. do this for both, then pull them out.

voila!
