Seats: newer vs older, or s-line vs normal?

Seats: newer vs older, or s-line vs normal?
I recently had the sheer pleasure of driving a 2005 3.2 v6 TT coupe. Due to previous experience with another Audi, I decided that the seats wouldn't suit me and I would never be able to get one. I sat in a 2001 awhile back and confirmed it was not doable. Basically, too hard to sit on.
But this newer one was awesome. I was so excited, I didn't pay much attention to anything else. Except the engine, of course. Leaping from 70 to 100 was unforgettable.
Anyway, my question is when did the seats change? Is it the S-Line seats that I liked so much? Or did they all change at some model year? Ebay showed the inside of a 2006 1.8T TT and the seats looked about the same to me.
