Default Seconday Air Injection Someone??

Whats up everyone. I kept getting this secondary air inj. code incorrect flow and the dealer has replaced the combination value twice. Is there anyway to check this with a vag-com and what is the purpose of a combination value? Two part question. Thanx

Default There could be a number of reasons.....

Is the air pump definitely functioning during cold engine starts? Usually you can hear the pump during the first minute of a cold engine start. If it's not running, then it's either siezed, not getting a signal from the ECU, or there's a shorted wire to the pump. Anyway, if it does seem to be working, then there is probably a leak somewhere in the secondary air system. I've had luck in the past using a soapy water mixture in a spray bottle to find the leak. Sort of like a bicycle tube leak check.

In the dealership's defense, secondary air injection codes are a real pain in the *** to diagnose. Good luck.

Had the same code and it turned out to be my DV. Forge cleared it right up.
