Some service managers got warnings about sharing the code with customers...
They were threatened with possible disenfranchisement from AoA as sharing the codes affects the integrity of the immobilizer for detering theft as a whole. Thanx for better explaining it to me. What i was wondering is just how it the code obtained (vag tool or other way)

The go into an AOA mainframe with a 14 digit number obtained...
from a 1551 or 2 that the K-Box has in its guts. They enter your VIN and 9 digit code to get the 4 digit secret code. This is heresay on my part as I don't have it for my K Box. However, there is a way around it from certain tuners. Somehow, they figured it out. I'm waiting on the forum to see the feedback before I jump in.
