Default Servicing Forge DV? Is this true?

I heard that we must clean our Forge DVs, is this true? Is it something that we can do, but is not necessary?

Regards

Default Just had to re-lube mine this weekend because it was sticking.... got a CEL warning too...

Even with the aluminum piston and the improved orings with the Forge upgrade, the unit did stick/slow to react. After I took it apart, I found that the lubricant had dried out and was very "tacky". I used some high temp synthetic grease (used for brake calipers), we'll see how long it lasts this time... The lubricant is a major achilies heel for the Forge unit - this is the third time I have had to service mine.

Default You WILL need to service it every 10k or so

and I don't have a problem with that. Better than having to replace it every 10k ;-)
