Default Shifting gears not as smooth.....

Anybody experience hard gear shifting. I own a 2001 225Q with 14,000 miles and I noticed that changing gears does not work as smooth as it used too, as a matter of fact I think there is something wrong. It feels like I have to be very careful putting car into gear while driving, almost have to jam into gear. I can feel every shift. I have been driving hard on the clutch since I installed the new valve from forge.

Anybody having simular problems????

Default Someone posted here a while ago about making sure that the shifter was aligned

Might be in the technotes...beat's me, that's all I remember, sorry.
FWIW, my shifter's pretty good, and I've noticed that if I'm more patient in my shifts to let rev's match that the notchiness (if that's a word) is much much reduced.
